What you can expect when you inquire about an investigation with The Ozarks Paranormal Society. (T.O.P.S)?
First of all, many people are somewhat hesitant in asking for help in cases that resemble the paranormal. They may feel silly, think they are imagining the events or think they will not be taken seriously. We understand the hesitation that some clients encounter and will help in answering any questions you have.
Secondly, we do not ask for money. All of our investigations are at no charge.
Regardless of your method of contacting us we acknowledge your email, telephone call, or person to person with a email confirmation. It is at this point a report file is created. Also, please remember; just because a report file is created, in no way does it mean that you grant us permission to do any more than privately and verbally respond to your concerns. At all times your information is strictly confidential unless we have permission from you and then only non-personal information is posted on our Website.
After our email confirmation to you we will set up at time for a brief telephone conversation.
During this telephone conversation we dig a little deeper into what you are experiencing. After the phone interview, T.O.P.S takes a look at your concerns and discusses the overall case between the investigators.
The next step: T.O.P.S will contact you by phone and email to setup a time that the T.O.P.S team can start a on-site preliminary investigation.
T.O.P.S is a group of sincere investigators. The whole process excluding the investigation if one is warranted can be accomplished in a very short time. We cover all the angles and issues with you, the client, and a confidential report based upon our findings will then be issued to the client.
We seek to try and recreate or dismiss any claims of paranormal activity. What can't be explained by scientific means using the most current equipment and techniques and is is left unexplained will be considered as some sort of paranormal activity.
After the investigation concludes and the final report issued, we still like to follow-up in a reasonable amount of time with the client to address any questions or concerns that may have risen since the investigation's conclusion. As always, the client is welcome to contact us with any concerns at any time.
Places we investigate:
We will investigate anywhere in which we have written permission to do so. However, there are special situations we will consider not investigating. We will not investigate property such as churches, cemeteries, or hospitals without the understanding from the case holder that the investigation is not to be exploited for profit . The purpose of this is to keep undesirable people from disrupting otherwise private property, faiths, values, and good people.
Cases involving children, elderly, and individuals living alone are priority cases. There's nothing like feeling alone or being alone in an uncomfortable environment!
